Despite confirmed risks US’ FDA approves Covid booster for babies
The bivalent Covid booster is now advised for children as young as six months old by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The change was made Tuesday. he booster is also now administered to young children following the original three dose regimen consisting of the bivalent injection, which was customised for Omicron.
The initial doses sent out in late 2020 were customised to the Wuhan strain that exploded early that year. The virus has since mutated to avoid it.
