North Korea launches missile as South Korea-US conducts military drills - Eureka Free Press

North Korea’s main news agency reported that a missile it tested on Thursday was an intercontinental ballistic missile called the Hwasong-17.

The missile was launched amid ‘provocative and aggressive’ joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea, the news agency claimed on Friday. The launch of the missile was earlier confirmed by ths Seoul authorities.

Kim Jong Un was shown watching the launch with his daughter in images posted on Friday by the nation’s national media, which also included images from space that appeared to have been taken by a camera installed on the rocket.
